Deep ruby red. Prune and blackberry jam with a hint of licorice and slightly earthy aroma. Fruit-forward, well-rounded and smooth with soft tannins. Serve with Risotto all'Amarone, Braised Beef Medallions, Duck Stew with Mashed Potatoes, Aged Cheese.

This wine is generous and kind from the start. There are ample aromas of red plums, tart cherries, cinnamon, clove and dried bay leaf. The palate is generous, with round tannins and plump red- and blue-fruit notes. The wine finishes with a touch of acidity that makes drinking it very enjoyable. This is an Amarone for now.
