As a blend of our best Chardonnay vineyard sites, the Stonestreet Estate Chardonnay is one of the most compelling illustrations of the mountain. We blend this white wine with astute precision, balancing aromatic intrigue, texture, and the Mayacamas' signature structural elements into a pure reflection of the mountain. This white wine exhibits honeysuckle and orange creamsicle with subtle salinity. The broad palate shows notes of pear, tropical fruit and toffee, balancing aromatic intrigue, texture and supple finish. Pair with grilled halibut or sea bass with a citrus vinaigrette, scallops and risotto. This bottled California chardonnay is 14.2% alcohol by volume.

From grapes grown between 400 and 1,800-feet elevation, this impressive white overdelivers on its price point, showcasing the beauty of the site. Graham cracker, honeycomb and stone fruit contribute to a rich midpalate of complex concentration and length, finishing balanced and bright in underlying acidity.

The 2018 Chardonnay Estate is a blend of various blocks on the estate. Not surprisingly, it is a beautifully balanced, harmonious wine. Lemon confit, sage, mint, white flowers and tangerine oil all meld together in the glass. The Estate captures all the natural breadth and texture of this site, but in a smaller-scaled style vis-a-vis the single block bottlings.

Coming all from the estate in the Alexander Valley, the appellation 2018 Chardonnay Estate reveals a medium gold color to go with lots of honeyed stone fruits, buttered almonds, brioche, and that classic mineral and white flower character that seems to be present in all of these Stonestreet Chardonnay. It's balanced, medium-bodied, and has loads of character.

The 2018 Chardonnay Estate was aged for 10 months in French oak barrels, 31% new. It gives up notes of guava, fresh yellow apples and white peaches plus hints of chalk dust and candied ginger. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is elegant and refreshing with good length and a mineral kick on the finish. 3,500 cases were made.
