Turned earth, forest and smoky oak mark this full-bodied, value-driven red wine that is additionally thick in tannin and brawny black fruit.

Frankly toasty, with a broad stroke of ganache dominating the more moderate cherry and plum fruit. A tobacco leaf note adds some range on the finish, but the toast just won't let go. Drink now through 2020. 205,000 cases made.
